Hello

I have a 1,75" track at my Apex XTX, and I see that I have to get rid of some gram in the weights, to get enough RPM. The sled is very fast from start, but for the first time I saw the taillight of another sled today, a Doo XR 1200 MCX 180.
Thats why I'm looking to get the sled a bit faster in the mid range. Is that possible with the OEM clutch?
And how is the best way to get it faster in the midrange. In a 660ft race I see 10200-10300 RPM. Must I get rid of some grams in the tip of the weight. I know it will get me more RPM, but will it be faster or slower in a 660ft race?
What about the secondary clutch, what effect will a change in the spring pressure do. More pressure will give more RPM, but would'nt that give me less midrange.
What about moving all grams in the tip of the weight, and at the same time change the spring pressure in the secondary to less pressure?
If someone have some ideas how to get a couple of sledlenght in a 660ft race with the OEM clutch?

Sled will gain rpm,s as miles accumulate.
You have 155 hp.
Doo with mcx kit has at least 180 hp & lighter sled.
You need at least 25 more hp & lose 60 pounds to beat him.

I know Ulmer offer a kit that give me 2 sledlenghts in the midrange, and I know that I will have problems beating a sled with more power.
But is'nt there anyone that have tried some adjusting at the OEM clutch's
