I'm trying to adjust front spring preload - but can't loosen the locknut by hand - even tried the special tool if that's where it's supposed to be used - do I wack it with a hammer and dull chisel?
Also trying to adjust mono-shock adjusting ring for a plusher ride - can't budge that either!
Sled was in warm garage for the past 48 hours!

Use the tool given and tap with rubber mallet or lightly with hammer to break locking section free. Should free up.

Is the tool for all 3 - front, mono, and control rod gizmo? Also when I tried the tool on the front shocks it just started rotating the shock and reservoir, making me nervous.....Thanks.

Have you suspended the sled with any type of lift to take the unnecessary weight off first?
Also did you spray with any type of penetrating fluid, that should also help.
