Anybody compared the new stock Windshields on the 12-13 Vectors compared to the older models? I see that Yammy claims they are redesigned but haven't been able to find any specs on them. I want to replace the mid-height stock shield on our 2011 for the wifey without getting something too tall. Are the new stock shields any better than 2011 versions?
I ordered SMA-8FT96-21-bk listed in the accessory catalog, but then I noticed that most of the literature lists it as only as 14.25" shield. The brochure I was looking at when I ordered it showed it as a 16"
Misprint I suppose. Our sled has a 14.5 as it is so I can't imagine that windshield will be any better. Might have to cancel that and try the new Vector windshield if any of you think it's an improvement. I don't want to go to tall as she already told me not to put on a taller one...LOL. I think she is going to be cold at times and I don't want to have to say "I told you so" in the middle of a trip
