i have been told that the seat on a 2012 xtx is a little softer than the one on a 2011 xtx i know they made a change but not sure what they really did i know what the ealer that won't to sell me a sled told me

New sculpted narrow seat
The FX Nytro XTX has a narrow seat for added comfort. In addition to putting the rider in a tall, forward, attack posture, the seat’s height makes it plush and comfortable for a full day of riding. The narrow seat sits atop the beveled tunnel, which allows the track to be a traditional 15 inches wide, to maximize traction. In addition, a new seat cover material has been incorporated this year for added comfort and durability. The seat foam has been improved as well with anti-sagging properties.

I just ordered the 12 cover and the foam from Yamaha for $199
Material is much much better and the foam is stiffer. I plan to just bring my 10 seat to an upholstery shop and have them do it up right. Sat on a 12 today and the feel was much improved.
