I have found a 2013 Apex SE with 2000km's asking price of 9999$ If I can get the guy to lower price to 9000$ would be the most I would pay do you guys think it is a good buy? OR keep my 21500km 2006 Apex GT for another season (not needing to put any money into it) and buy next year?

doesn't sound bad to me. for reference i have been trying to sell my 2012 apex xtx with 3100 miles and many extras for $8,000

considering you can get a brand new 2014 nytro for 10 grand you should be able to talk them down a considerable amount.

that actually is not too bad a price here in Ontario for that sled. in dec 2012 when I bought my apex xtx, it was $15,000.00 with the tax otd and that was the best price I could find at the time.

I bought a brand new 2012 apex standard with no miles and an extended warranty for just under 10k U.S. At the end of last season. Nytro's are a different animal. People have given it a bad wrap, and it has a replacement with the same motor, so the prices, are, dropping like rocks on new left overs. That price you are looking at seems pretty good.

I out mine up for sale for 4000$ I have 2 people coming to look at it so it is looking good! I am getting pumped I am going to look at the 13 in three weeks if he still has it. He gave me best price 9500$ The 13 has 2000km studs, aftermarket carbides, 2 windshields and all maintenance done. Let's hope this plays out well I have a good feeling though I think its the right time to trade up to a newer sled for me. Hopefully mine goes without a hitch she's been a good machine. I feel like I want to try the floats maybe they will be a better suspension set up for me. I have worked on mine and it is as good as its going to get but feel still not good enough for me. Maybe the floats will float my boat. Ill keep you guys posted and post up pics if this goes down for sure.

That's a very good price in Canada. Eh .

$ 17,000 sled new here in the Great White North.

But... a Nytro is NOT an Apex... Not even close IMHO. Sounds like a great buy to me at 9 grand.
I see that it is not an apex, but you can still use that to an advantage. "why would I buy your used sled that you probably beat the crap out of (because that's what we all do) when I can buy this new sled that I know how much I beat it up."

Hey Murse,
What work was done to the rear EC Ohlinds shock? I am wanting to have a revalve done but who do you recommend? What were you still not happy with? The front?

I used Hygear suspension had them revalve and upgraded to a twisted spring dual rate kit. Worked awesome! Expensive about 650 with shipping but worth it. I never got the front shocks done and was thinking about it but I feel like no matter how much work I could have done to my 06 I still would not have been 100% happy with it now. Great sled and I used it well it was just time for me to move up to a newer model. I found a better deal on a standard Apex at my local dealer and sold my 06 after posting it within 2 days for asking price. I am very happy can't wait to ride and try it.
