Hey folks, losing what's left of my mind with this. Replaced all skid bearings, changed over to dupont slides, re-installed skid. All went well, up until setting up sag and centering. If I set sag as equal while hanging with no weights, ( 1.25" ) on both sides the track is way left. To the point that the outter nubs on the outside of the right rail are rubbing hard against the new slide, making it very noisy.

If I set it up to be centered, the nubs don't rub, but the track is much tighter on the left side.

Which is more important, equal track sag, or centered track?

Thanks

Centered. It's a long piece of rubber that spins really fast. It needs to be centered.

I've fallen into this trap before. Meaning attempting to get perfectly centered and equal sag on both sides.
Just ain't happening.

Now, I squeeze two finger tension, adjust center on the stand, take a ride with wrenches, tweak a little, and let it go.

Track will never stay perfectly centered at all times. Sometimes it's closer to the right, sometimes it's closer to the left. I call it the track dance. If it's habitually favoring one side, then I may tweak it just a little.

As long as your not dragging on one side, you're good to go. Cheers and ride on!

Thanks. I'll go out and start from scratch yet again.
I can't get over it. Never had this much problem before. Bravos, Ovation, Phazer all were slick to do.
