Just wondering what everyone’s sitting/resting sag is on their 2016-2017 Apex XTX with the updated fox air shock? Mine seems to be 3-4 inches. I am not sure if that is correct or should the sitting sag be more like an inch? I have 250 psi in the chamber and clickers are 12 clicks from stop. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to have the shock rebound I little higher.
Thanks
Thanks

I have not had any sag in my shock sitting over the summer i'm running around 275-280psi in mine which seem about right for my weight with about 2" of sag when I sit on it, I am at 12 clicks also which is factory setting and plan to dial my ride in abit better this season with the clickers, trial and error before getting it right for me, just add or blow off air to set your ride height and sag to your weight, there is a chart to go by on this site for a starting point. hope this helps

Just so we are on the same page. When you go to pick up your sled from the rear this is no slack of about 3-4 inches before the track comes off the ground? I also don’t have anything to get my rear skid off the ground so I can properly adjust the psi.I have not had any sag in my shock sitting over the summer i'm running around 275-280psi in mine which seem about right for my weight with about 2" of sag when I sit on it, I am at 12 clicks also which is factory setting and plan to dial my ride in abit better this season with the clickers, trial and error before getting it right for me, just add or blow off air to set your ride height and sag to your weight, there is a chart to go by on this site for a starting point. hope this helps

I would have to say yes there is some suspension free play when I lift the rear of the ground after sitting on the sled, but when put back on the ground the suspension stays up till I sit on the sled again, the sag I speak off is in the shock movement, at 275-280 psi my shock will compress about 2" when I sit on the sled, I am not saying this is the right setting for this shock with my weight but the sled rides nice at this setting and rarely bottoms out and the ride height seems fine, the proper way to put air in the shock is to lift the skid off the ground but I have added air and blown off air with the track on the ground with no problems when I was dialing in the pressure for my weight, the shock pump has 2 settings one setting is high pressure for 10-20-30 psi increases and the other is for like 1-2-3-4-5 psi increases, if you are having a hard time getting the pressure to come up in your shock then your pump is probably in the low setting.

Thanks for the input and assistance 20/80. I was able to pump the shock up with no issues to try and get it dialed in for my weight according to the chart I found on this site. I was just making sure that the 3-4 of free play when I go to pick up the rear end was normal. My 2012 SE is not like that and my mega float is set up for me as well. I just wanted to double check. It just seems to sit a little lower.I would have to say yes there is some suspension free play when I lift the rear of the ground after sitting on the sled, but when put back on the ground the suspension stays up till I sit on the sled again, the sag I speak off is in the shock movement, at 275-280 psi my shock will compress about 2" when I sit on the sled, I am not saying this is the right setting for this shock with my weight but the sled rides nice at this setting and rarely bottoms out and the ride height seems fine, the proper way to put air in the shock is to lift the skid off the ground but I have added air and blown off air with the track on the ground with no problems when I was dialing in the pressure for my weight, the shock pump has 2 settings one setting is high pressure for 10-20-30 psi increases and the other is for like 1-2-3-4-5 psi increases, if you are having a hard time getting the pressure to come up in your shock then your pump is probably in the low setting.
