just remember the 1.75 apex's have 7 tooth drivers instead of the 8 tooth on the 1.25 units.

This is true as I just swapped out a 1.75 for 1.25 on my 18 Apex. I opted to revert back to the 8 tooth drivers and left gear ratio alone
