Just try em. Its only 1 bolt. Just make sure the front of the ski doesn't pitchfork when you come of the ground.
Why use Pilot's? Easier turning?

they have that dual runner setup that I heard will elimated any darting plus I like how they turn on the rev that we have
ski doo sells a kit for mounting on yamaha. I believe it's 860200165 thats skiis runners mics. items to mount. use yammi spacers and rubber pad. I turned rubber around and notched to fit 1/4 " shim in rear. tracks good ,no whipping.

whats needed .......really.
Ok...this is for Pilot onto 08 Nytro RTX using the SD upgrade kit
I bought the SD Pilot upgrade kit........limited color options but way cheaper than buying all the parts indiv. Dealer let me trade for different color ski loops as kits are black or yellow only.
I have the parts list that came with the kit if anyone is interested in specific #'s. It comes with everything. Although the bumper will not work with 08 Nytro spindle. Stopper with kit is # 505072018, it will work but needs to be cut down to 14/15mm thick and placed under the stock Nytro bump/stopper which aslo needs to be grooved a little to fit over the ski gusset/mold..
and oh yah, I had to modify the spacers....remove .087" from each to attain same center distance between skis.
ps, if you milling or grinding the rubber stopper use water as a cutting or cooling fluid.....makes life much easier and way less sticky.
(Although, smoke and stink will keep the better half out fo the garage)
Use the stock Yam ski spindle bushing, its better quality that the SD part, you also have grind it to the correct width for Pilot Ski. A little less play with the Yam bushing.
cheers, BK

So you used both bumpers, the ski doo one and the Yamaha one? Or did I miss something? I just picked up my kit so I am ready to try something.
thanks

yah, you'll see when you pull your skis.
The crappy part is getting the doo stopper down to 15mm.......hacksaw and angle grinder, followed by belt sander. You'll get creative I'm sure.
The doo one fits nice in the bottom of the pilot ski and then a few trim cuts on the yam pad to sit on top. It's actually decent when done, the yamahe pad has a channel on the bottom that fits on top of the doo stopper.
will ride in the morning......cant be worse than stock skis

Which particular ski-doo sled do these ski's come off from(model)? Or are they stock on most model REV's?

I think all revs and summits after 06 used them, the summit ones are a little wider at 6.9inches, I really recomend these to anyone who goes offtrail alot or anyone who gets crusty snow conditions. We got a little rain up here and things got a bit crusty. I was with an xp rev and an 07 renegade and they tried my sled and couldnt get over how much easier it was to control in the crust over there sleds. My sled rocks in the powder now with those skis and my 1.375 track.

i went to the ski section and some of the info seems for multiple models. can someone please shed some light on actual part numbers for putting the 6.9 pilots on the fx nytro mtx? could we get a sticky for different hardware needed for different models?
i have fit the precisions to multiple yamaha sleds but the new spindles seem to require different rubbers ect... would like to get a set before my next ride, any help appreciated. ski
