8" ski skins worth it?

Hey guys I have a 05 Yamaha Rage. I recently outfitted it with a 2" paddle track and man oh man can I go places! I love boondocking and ditch banging. Most of my buddies have ski doos summits and back countries. I find when I slow right down my front end tends to bury itself in the deep stuff. I am interested in these ski skins ranging from 6" to 8" wide. Will I lose all my carving capabilities? As it is I can carve up a storm but would like more floatation. Just scared of needing even more body weight throw around to carve. Anyone try this? I'm usually in a few feet of snow

i have a set of c&A mtx's unbelievable flotation they are 8inches wide,Even a fat pig like my vector floats awesome , in deep stuff they turned good , on the the trails not so much push terrible till they would finally bite. Switched to simmons flex skis this year
