Just installed a camoplast challenger extreme and AVID drivers. Was looking at 8" rea wheels......... I am assuming lots of people have tried this. Any reports and what kit/wheels are considered the best?
I liked the tuning fork spoke wheels that Yamaha had for a bit, not sure if they were 8" or not........

I would highly suggest you run an 8" wheel kit wit that track. It helps lower the rolling resistance of the track which mean less hp to rotate it which is a good thing They work well. OFT puts out a nice axle 2-3 interior axle/wheel kit and have heard good things about them. I am running an old Mountain Machine performance 8" wheel kit and axle that i am very happy with but they have since sold the company that is out of las vegas. I try to stay away from the fancy design wheels just because of the fact that some of them have a lot of material taken out of the wheels and IMO look weak and have heard of cases where the wheels can fold up after a hard tail hit. That is why the 3 wheel kit from OFT is pretty nice. you get the look and function of a two wheel kit but you actually have three wheels to balance out the load a little better. There are a lot of companies that make 8'' wheels you just have to find ones you like.
