? for you guys I got stuck a few times in deep snow this year and that sucked. I have a 07 attak do you think a 1 1/2 track would really wake it up in deep snow and if so can you just put it on and be done or do you have to change things ? studs ?

I'm in the same predicament.
Got stuck way more than I would like as well on my 2007 Attak. I'm leaning towards the 144" 1.5" Crossover track. I also have a Hartman 151" tunnel extension arriving tomorrow. Quite a few people on here commented on how getting the flap up higher of the ground helped in deep snow. It made sense to me so I'm going that route, as well as the track.
Every time I'd get in real deep snow and my sled would start to bog down, it would ratchet, so I'm getting some anti ratchet drivers as well.
I'm also interested in what people have to say. I read a ton of posts on here and would like to know if I have missed anything.

The 1.25 ripsaw that came from the factory seems to be a great track on a groomed trail, but just spins in the powder and the slush, and lacks the paddle to push the snow. That will be my next upgrade also, going to a 1.5.
I put a 1.375" Ice Attack track on mine. It made a big difference. Didn't have to modify anything

I have a 1.5" intense on my 06 and is night and day difference on and off trail. The original ripsaw track was useless off trail but i hear the ripsaw II is supposed to be much better.

Bigest thing is the atack angle of the track if you set the skid back to lessen the aproach angel it will help tremendously. and if you are changing track anyways then you just get one that is long enough for the change.many have done this mod and have had great results highest cost is new track but if you are changing anyways then i would research that option before picking new track.
