Added Vents the cheap way

I had some gutter guard stuff laying around and I was looking at adding vents to my XTX. Still need to paint the head but it was alot cheaper the buy vent kits online.

That looks very good I wondernif snow would pas through that tho? I gotta make something similar for my head light delete. I planed on using the screen door at home lol. Wife'sgonna love tthat. I also thought about putting some pretty filter material on the back so it doesn't fill the whole sled with snow and ice?

I order some frog skin to glue on the back side.

I think your gonna get a lot of snow in there. I also am looking at venting the belt side. Just looking for the site for the frog skin.

After I put the prefilter on it will be fine. On my MTX it works great. Wish Yamaha would add more vents to help with the heat, my 2000 SRX had more vents then any of the new sleds.
