At WOT in powder i'm over revving, i'm over 11K, I think i'm hitting the rev limiter because the power dies out and the sled won't go faster even though I know the motor has more power available.
Also, it seems like i'm spinning the track a lot when that happens and not producing much traction/forward momentum. The more power I give the more it seems the rear end sinks, and when I loop around and look at the ditch i've dug it shows that as well. Does not make for a good hillclimb setup.
So:
Should I get a clutch kit?
Should I get a better track for more traction?
Should I bring the limiter straps in?
Or do something else?

well what are you running for a track? and I'm no apex guy but I believe those run around 10,800 but all sleds dig trenches man..pulling the limiters I would say will prob give you less traction. Do a search on the power side of things, maybe better flotation(plate) i'm no powder guy but it sounds to me like you may need more traction.
