So I'm out trail riding and the sled backfires. Almost immediately my boost gauge went into alarm (set at 16psi) and indicating 29.5 psi, which is the max reading for this gauge.
Now my AEM tru boost controller indicates normal vacuum at cold startup then builds pressure quickly at idle during warm up until it goes into alarm and indicated max setting of 29.5psi
Contacted AEM and they ultimately suggested I send the gauge in for a $50 USD inspection. Add that to the cost of shipping to California and back?? Sounds like throwing good money after bad to me.
Anyone having luck with their AEM tru boost controller?
