aftermarket exhaust does it need jetting

put on a loud version of bender on my 03 rx1, its so loud its unreal, so i cut it open and modified alittle, did quiet it up some but its still loud, any way, is anyone running exhaust only on a rx1, if so did u need to do any jetting , needle change, air screw adjustment, ect.

I have the Max Perf exhaust on mine and made no changes. Seat of the pants dyno says big HP gains!!

Yeah I went with the hauck pipe and it did not repuire rejetting. If you install the K&N filters you need to change jets.

bender exsaust

Hi!I just bought an 03 rx1 that came with the loud version bender exsaust,i took it out cause i was told it was illegal on the trail.After installing the stock exsaust,the sled is a pig on gas,so i called the previous owner of this sled to see if he had to rejet when he installed the bender exsaust,the dealer told him nothing needs to change,actually i think it has more power with the stock pipes,and alot easier on my old ears..lolWish i could find out why it's so hard on fuel.....

I had to rejet with the whiteknuckle GP-1 exhaust, I think I put in 145 mains,

I have a bender exhaust on mine and did not rejet it. It does give more in the mid range power. If you can get use to the drone of the exhaust its awesome...
