Aftermarket Grips?

I would like to use ODI lock ons, or something similar on my RX Warrior, as well as my SRX.

How do I go about this? do I have to drill out the rivet to remove the grip. Do I put on aftermarket heaters that stick on the bars? Do I just wire them into the old wires? Will grips like odis work with heaters?
You get the point, let me know your thoughts please.

The stock grips are wore right off my sleds, im sure this is a commonly dealt with issue...
Any input at all is greatly appreciated.
