Have you looked at the backcountry track from Camoplast?
They are 1.75" lug but they don't look much shorter than the tracy you are showing.
I just installed mine and it works great in the powder and seems to be fine on the trails too.

I boutght one from port yamaha for $400 on clearance about a week or so ago... you may be able to still get one for that price.

not 2" but just a thought.

i have looked at the backcountry and that is kinda my fallback plan. i was hopeing there was a track out there that was a little more agressive than that.
thanks for the suggestion!

How long is that Assault track? I know someone on here switched his drivers so he could run a 146" long track. It fit, not sure if he ran larger rear wheels to make up the 2" or if the adjusters were long enough.

I'm running a 121 on my 120" with no problems yet.

I read that the assault tracks hooked up awesome, but the lugs were so hard they ripped off the track rather easily, and doing major damage to the track at the same time. So they weren't lasting long. Just what I heard, don't know if its true or not... but it makes sense.

More aggressive than an 1 3/4!! You guys from Saskatchewan are Crazy! LOL. :drink:

I've got the Backcountry 1.75 on my boosted Nytro XTX and my new Apex XTX and have been pleased with them on the trail and out west in the powder. Just make sure you have some good ice scratchers on them for trail riding to save your hy-fax

that would be awsome but i dont think there is the clearance in the tunnel to run this track as it is 2.125" lug. if this could be done that would be perfect but i thought 2" was kinda the max on the xtx.
what is the difference between the xtx and the mtx tunnels so that they fit a 2.25'? it must be able to be done

The MTX 3" 7 tooth drivers are smaller then the 2.52" 9 tooths on an XTX http://fourstrokesolutionsllc.webs.com/ ... edtech.htm
Looking at the driver size chart in the link a posted above, 2.52 9 tooths and 2.86 8 tooths are almost the same size. I run 2" track on 2.52 9 tooth drivers, and there is about 3/8" clearance at the front heat exchanger.
A 2.86 8 tooth 2.125" combo just might fit, depending on the thickness of the track belt (total height of the lug from the driver) It would be pretty close though.

I have the 146" Ripsaw Lite (single ply) 1.75" track on my Nytro. It is a 2.86 pitch though. I wanted extro's anyways, so I just switched to 2.86 pitch 8-tooth drivers when I pulled the driveshaft. The 146" Ripsaw is a lot more aggressive than the Backcountry and hooks up like crazy. Works good in the powder and great on the trail. If you are riding on groomed trails, I would think about sticking with 1.75" or less to avoid smoking your Hyfax even faster than usual. I was able to run the track with stock rear wheels adjusted all the way out, but I put on an offset axle and inboard mounted 8" wheels to get more adjustability. Just something else to look into.

I run a 144" backcountry on my sled for the last 3000 KMs, and its just fantastic - both on and off trail. I'm sure there are other tracks out there, maybe better.. But I guess you would be happy with the BC also. It is a great track. Not one lug damaged or gone in the 3000 KMs i have used it.

Much more agressive/durable than backcountry.
http://www.camoplast.com/tracks/tracks/xc_pro_over.html

1.75"
Note: You would need to change the drivers for this since it is 2.86 pitch, 146" long.

i really like this over the backcountry aswell. iam going to look into some pricing on this for everything and see what it could be done for.
thanks!
