I was changing oil and filter today and noticed one of the rubber boots from the airbox to the carb was ripped. I'll replace all 4. I figured you squeeze the old boots to get them out of the airbox and do the same to fit the new ones in?? What do I use to clean the adhesive/silicone off the airbox, and what exactly is it, adhesive or silicone sealing boots to airbox?
Also, I dumped about 3 to 4 table spoons of water out of the crankcase breather. Is this normal?
Thanks, Al

After doing much searching and reading it seems some don't put any sealant on the boots and others have used silicone or rtv sealant.
