Maybe Yamaha has the timing all wrong on the $$.
By Sept. Oct. next year the US may have a stronger dollar than now.
Over the last 2 weeks there has be a reversal in the Money Exchange Markets. Euro going down, USD going up.
Time will tell if this reversal gains traction (which they call a trend up).
So keep your eyes on this guys.
You may have some somthing to say about this come next season.
What Yamaha did in 2008 for us in Canada was offer us rebate checks to get us buying again.

That is significant coin for a machine that we in the peripheral of the northeast snow belt where the real riding is to dish out. Decent riding conditions are presently 5 hours from where I live. I for one will be keeping my 06 for a more significant duration than first thought. If you take the 10k most were laying out in 06 and look at 15k today. 50% increase in four years. Anyone experiencing those kinda #'s in there own coffers? Dollar aint worth $hit.

well boys supply is down do to low demand. prices have to go up when you are selling a lot less. i think you are going to see everything go up. dollar is in the toilet, nobody spending money, get used to it. snowmobiling is a dying recreation. in the next 2 years we will see at least one manufacturer gone. the problem with most people is they can't see what is going on because it is a favorite thing to them and they see it from a skewed perspective. just a side note in the motorsports world, suzuki is not offering any 2010 street bikes for sale in the usa. doesn't relate to sleds but shows what is happening in the real world.

WOW, sleds look awesome! Unfortunately looks like this middle class person has been priced out of the yamaha brand for new sleds. Glad I love my 06 Apex GT, might be tuff to outfit the wife with a new sled after selling her vector gt 2yrs ago...
Guess I'm just a lottery ticket away from a couple new ones....lol
I like the Apex XTX but wish it was black!
