Amsoil to M1

I have been running Amsoil 0w40 in my 06 RTX. Sled has 5500 miles. Amsoil price now in Canada is $14.00/quart plus 13% tax. It used to be $10.00. I have couple jugs of M1 green cap 0w30 on my shelf. I paid $19.00 / 5 quarts at Wally World USA. I know other people on this site are using the M1 without problems. But I am getting cold feet on making a change? Basically I want to know am I looking for problems by changing????
