Doesnt seem like a big deal to me because i was hsving minor electrical troubles before but the othrr day i opened out across the pond and the oil light came on. I never seen a code but i shut off anyways. Then i did the same thing with same results. Probably 10 minutes later after a break i went across the.pond what ever it could suffer and i never seen the oil light. The oil level is goid and i do a correct oil change every year. Could this turn into a big issue. Plus i find thst the oil is a bubbly when i check it after she is warmed up. I hope its not water or antifreeze in the oil. The oil light code 30 hasnt poped up on my guage yet eather[/i]

Usually bubbling indicates an overfill and it frothes the oil so you might want to make sure your levels are not high. Other than that it can indicate a higher than normal oil temp. Sounds to me though like it's overfilled. Have you checked your wire harness behind the primary it's a well known culprit for wearing into a casting lug on the engine for the 08's to 10 models. It can can give alot of eronious readings electrically wise.

That wouldn't be the case with a Dry Sump engine would it?

Ive already moved the harness brhind the primary. I had overheating lights ond oil light come on going through 3ft of powder. I knew she wouldnt over heating. But i moved the harness and never had a prblem till the other day. Never seen the overheating light sense eather
If it is over full it will dump it in your air box from the over flow tube so check there. If you had anti freeze in the oil it would milky.

So to check the oil this is how i does it. Correct me if im wrong.
1: start and warm up. Prehaps even take a little run on her and stop on level and let idle for 20 r 30 secknds.
2: i know u can keep her going but i shut it off and clean the dipstick put it back in the canister without screwing in and that should be it right?
