Hello,

I did search for this in previous forums, but could find nothing to do with MY seat. I added a Mountain Mod seat to my sled over the summer, and now want to put a riser on. How high of a riser should I use??? I don't want the bars to be crazy high, just comfortable. Thanks for the advice....

Sit down on the new seat....stick your arms out to where you "want" to grab the bars, and have a buddy measure the height to the new position.

Will a stock Apex riser fit on? A friend of mine has one from his 2010 that he said I could have.... does anyone know what the size is on these? Also, does anyone know how high I can go before I need new cables? Thanks in advance, Al

I think 2" is the accepted max that you can go before needing new cables.

Not sure on the fit of Apex riser.

I put a pivot riser and 4" block on my '05 Warrior...I was able to use the stock brake and parking brake lines with a bit of re-routing.

For the throttle cable, I bought an '05 Mountain sled cable, and swapped it out in 10 minutes.

Hello i went with a chux limited fixed riser 2" cheap easy to install and no new cables. i have an apex seat on the sled and its perfect. i also have one on my viper for the last 3 years no probems and super comfortable. i have a seat riser on that sled.
you can find him on ebay or google chux limited

I have a 8 inch Oles riser on my sled with a apex seat, I replaced all my cables with mountain stuff(witch is fairly cheap) and i also had to add some lenght to EVERY wire going to the bars to hide all the connectors under the hood. I think if i had a mountain mod seat it would be perfect, but with my soft gt seat i am thinking about going to the 6". Also i am 6'2"
