Upon trying to replace the bushings in the front suspension, I am "stuck" on the lower a arm bolts that connect it to the spindle. I am assuming there is a sleeve where the bolt goes through the spindle and that is my issue. I am looking for any tips this wide audience has, before I start playing with fire.

Is the sled up in the air? Are you working on it alone? I used pb blaster and had someone pushing up and down on nose cone. It was more than a treat to do

Mine was bent. Had to cut the bolt to get it out. It was a bitch. Messed up the finish on the arm.

Let's see, I've changed right side a arms 3 times. Guess how many times I had to cut those bolts????? BINGO!!! All 3 times lol. I use a cut off wheel and a proper sized straight punch with a BFH. Works like a charm.

Oh ya, if your bolt is bent there is a good chance one or both A-arms are bent. Just measure the distance between your shock & the A-arm then compare it with the other side.
