Hi all, is anyone here still waiting for their FX Nytro RTX SE to arrive? The dealer in PA is telling me that my order is still in process. It's been that way going on four weeks. Anybody else experiencing this?

I bought one off the snowroom floor yesterday, and they had another one just sitting there. So i dont know what to tell you. I'd throw a hissy fit :die

Mine was supposed to be in in October. I called Yamaha customer service the day before Thanksgiving, it showed up the following Monday. I don't know if called Yamaha helped, but it can't hurt.

I think certain dealers only have so much room on their floor plan$$$ and now with banks sucking like they do you can take it from there.
Call Yamaha ASAP and get a date it " will" be in, not "around" :moon: or ask for yamaha to PLEASE honor the deal from another dealer if you power surged it. If not get your deposit back and then call around and go after it!
If you wait the deals will be better, but with yamaha advertising "WHY WAIT SALES" event call and ask Yamaha why are you still waiting???
:exc: After your call you will see it with in one week or less.
Get a case number, ask for manes and tell them you are writing them down and you will be calling back every two days for an update. This
should work for sure, remember to be nice NOT rude and Good luck!

call around to other dealers nearby, they might have one on the showroom floor. If you can get out of your contract because they can't deliver, you might get a better deal buying one off the floor somewhere else. I got mine for $10,000 plus tax and registration. Doesn't hurt to try. I'd be pulling my hair out waiting for my sled to arrive if the trails were open!!

BG,

I'm curious to know if any calls that you may have made got through to someone who could give you some answers? Once you get through to customer service, then ask to speak with a product specialist.

Finally got my sled

Well, I finally got my SE. I called the Yamaha Corp. this week because I was getting the run around from the dealer I originally ordered it through. Yamaha notified me that my sled was ordered but they could not release it to that dealer due to financing/fraud issues.

The Yamaha customer service was able to get me set up with an SE at another location, Rusty Palmer's in PA. They seem like a great dealer to work with. Yamaha and Rusty's honored my original bill of sale price, which was lower than the going price. Overall, the Yamaha customer service team was very helpful with this whole ordeal. Thanks Yamaha.

Now time to do some modifications.

Wow that was an interesting story. I'd really like to hear more about this fraud case against the original dealer you went through. Unfortunatly you missed some riding time that could have been great on your new Nytro. Now lets hope this warm up doesn't last much longer and we get right back into some winter weather.
