I have not been on in a while since I have been so busy at work. But anyhow...in Decenber of 2006 I bought 2 bearings and a longer nut for the top shock rubbing issue in the 05 Mono skid off a guy named Allen at Four Seasons Machine & MFG Co.
I finally got around to installing in in the skid this season since I had the skid out.

I was hoping to get a hold of him and see if I could get a few extra bearings from him since they have an insert he made for them to offset them a hare so they do not rub the shock bracket as they spin. This is really a nice little kit but I know these bearings like all others will be junk in time.

I tried the number on the recipt I have and all I get is a fast busy signal.
Anyone know who this guy is and is he still on here? Or does anyone else make these inserts for these bearings?

Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about. My shock and the mount were pretty worn from the track and it was putting divits in my track (2nd track) Hopefully this will help and it sure looks like it will.
I did a quick search but I did not find anything.

Anyone???

Just go to your local parts store a get replacement bearings. I did mine with some bearings I had laying around, just added a couple of washers for spacers and a longer bolt, been in for 2 complete seasons already and are still fine this year.

Duh. Never thought of the washers. That will work. I had already bought the bearings for back ups but when I got home I realized this guy made some nice insert/spacers to offset the bearing. Thanks for the idea. That will work!

I can see where the offset would be better it would keep the track a little farther away from the shock.

Hmmm...Maybe...but the hand written recipt was from the machine shop I mentioned above. I thought it was just a guy who rode and came to this site and had the same problem with the track rubbing the shock.
I'll check with Allen
