Is anyone running 1.45 studs in there rip saw ?? Any problems with rubbing or ratchting of track??.......... :exc:

a few marks on the exhaust bracket but other than that it was fine. track did rachet some but they didn't ever come too close to the heat exchanger. I swapt tracks this year but I will be running the 1.450 again--good traction.

Mushie I have 2500+ miles with no issues other then still away from plastic backers. I have had a half dozen or so break. I have stud boy double plus backers and woodys 1.45s.

Why go longer??? longer stud flex more.I got 1.325 woody that is 4 year old and sharped them with a grinder ( stud get shorter ) and got more traction because they flex less.
You want more traction think this:
- less flex
- more scratch line

I had the 1.450 with the tall nuts and the studs held up fine.--- over 3100 miles on them.
