Who has tried gearing down. I use mine for lake racing so I am not sure if it would work for me.

A gut i worked with said he gained 4mph on ice. said he didn't notice loss on bottom.
I would like to ride with him to see the difference if there is any.

What did he do put a 25 tooth top gear.

no idea, he said he geared down and gained 4mph. I'll see if I can get ahold of him sometime. I am out of work for 3-4 weeks so i would have to find his number.
