Apex Daytona Water Temp Gauge??? How hot?

Just installed my Daytona Water Temp gauge bought from Ulmer Racing on my 2006 Apex BD turbo, just wondering what temp it should run at? Motor has J&E 9:1 low comp pistons with Carillo rods. Thanks for the help

mine stays between 160 to 185 while riding

Thanks, is it warmer just at a idle? Had mine to 206 in the shop. Just want to make sure I don't have a air bubble and overheat.

idling will make it warmer as there is no snow hitting the coolers

In good snow conditions mine runs 164, 165 we had some rain and low snow and it hit 180.

with turbos they do run hotter if you are cooling the turbo

Strange, Mine stay consistant at 185 to 190 with turbo. I don't have any additional cooling added either. My dads has same set up with a rear exchanger added and stay 10 to 15 degrees cooler.

try the evans coolant in there. they should drop at least 10 degrees
