I've just added a new set of Ski carbides that have a very heavy keel and I'm sure I will have to reduce my ski pressure a bit. What is the best way of doing so? I suspect I can loosen off the ski shocks but how far can I go? What about the weight transfer rod or anything else??

Thanks for your help!

You will want to loosen the ski shock spring pressure to the minimum anyway to keep the sled planted in the corners and reduce the inside ski lift. Try that first, should be OK.

transfer rod helps a little, ski pressure changes again if you have a full tank of fuel compared to just one gallon.thats a difference of about 50lbs in the MIDDLE of your sled!! LOTS of variables to ski pressure.what kinda carbides you draggin? ___________________ 1996 sea-doo xp race ready 1997 sea-doo gs pleasure 2000 suzuki 4x4 suzuki 50 yamaha 80 1976 kz 750 twin custom paint banshee stroked drag 2 seater dunebuggey 1835cc port/polished 1977 ford mudbogger 18ft donzi 2006 YAMAHA APEX GT

the limiterstrap used to be how to reduce or increase ski pressure and weight transfer.not the shock springs.on the apexs the control rod sets the weight transfer.
