Does anybody have tips on how to remove the stock exhaust from an 07 Apex Mountain? Does the track and suspension have to be dropped to get to the clamps? Is there any easier way? Tips on seperating the the Y-pipe from the headers. I have heard this can be difficult. Any pics on removal would be great. I am replacing it with an aftermarket sytem. Thanks.

Remove the seat. On top of the tunnel, there are 5 little rubber plugs. You have to remove two of then to get the 2 clamps. loosen the clamps,( 12MM I think) remove the heat shield ( 4 bolts ) and remove the bolts holding the pipe towards the back of the sled, ( Also, 4 bolts ) Then just pull and wiggle, the pipe will slide right out.

You might have to just get new ones. The gaskets on my pipe were really in there good. I didn't even attempt to remove them.
Someone else may have a method tho.
