Buddy of mine has an F1000. Last year he had it boosted to 180 hp. From a standing or rolling start my LTX wood leap out in front until he eventually reeled me in and passed me. I am 260 lbs and he is only 215.
This year he boosted it again to 203 hp. We line up on the rail line last Sunday groomed with a bit of loose snow on top. I saw his ski tips BEHIND me on my tail about a foot and a half off the ground as we left and then they fell behind even further. Didn't go long enough to see if he was reeling me in.
I have never experienced hookup in snow as good as this machine. My Renegade 800 had the same 136 1.25 ripsaw and it would spin more on takeoff. What is it about the LTX that makes it hook so well?
