is there a system that you can use without having to do the mapping of say a boondocker meaning when you are not on the spray you are on the stock ecu fuel mapping and with such a system what is the maximum safe spray on pump fuel, 50hp?

jminor, get a holtzman system. I used mine my first winter (prior to the existence of the power commander) and had no problems.
The Apex pulls timing above 10500 rpm. That's what makes it so safe. Rev at 10700 to 11000 on the nitrous and you're laughing, literally!!
I run 91 octane all day long.
Nowadays, with my Power Commander, I run an almost stock map (at higher rpms) when using the nitrous. The PC simply allows me to run my HOT map at all other rpm's except WOT!!
