If our titanium pipes get damaged, and the sled is covered under YES, can the stainless pipes be substituted under warranty? I'd feel better with the stainless ones....

I have the same question.

Can these less expensive stainless steel pipes be installed under warranty?

As far as warranty is concerned I believe that is something to bring up with your individual dealer as I can't speak for how each dealer and or Yamaha US / Yamaha Canada will handle this. I personally believe if the customer wants stainless they should get stainless and if they want titanium put back in they should get titanium - customers choice. I also think the fact that Yamaha has produced the stainless and are offering them at a reduced cost should be a sign to the consumer that they do look after their customers and went to work on something that they could have left alone for the customer to deal with - forcing them to repair their sled with the higher priced titanium or searching for aftermarket styles that require a set to be purchased. I applaud the people at Yamaha that got this done for the benefit of the customers as I know it was not an easy task and could have easily been left alone.

Port, well said ;)!

I agree Port. And congrats to at least trying the titanium...takes some lower extremity parts to play with that stuff as production pieces...lol
