apex stalled

I was out for a rip yesterday on my 07 apex and locked the track up breaking hard.
It stalled.
Has this happened to anyone else.

did you get any error codes?

could be TORS....mine would kill the sled at weird times. I will prolly disconnect it this year when I get the sled outta the trailer.

No error codes. It just shut down.
Started right back up.Really strange.
Is it hard to disconnect the tors on these 4 strokes?

Not hard just plug it into itself , were you low on gas ?

I have alway disconnected the tors on two smokes, but I wouldn't have a clue where to find it on this 4 stroke! LOL!
I was at 3 bars on the fuel guage.

Hiya Mulderdad hows the trails there in Hali??? here in Huntsville the snow is awesome and have put on 170 miles here .

Rail trail is good.
Havn't been out to the top b trail yet.
Did about 150 miles this week road runnin.
Lots of snow.

If you locked the track up right to a stop then the belt doesn't get a chance to come back up in the clutch. Means starting out in overdrive. I've learned to let the brake off right at the end of the stop so the track turns a couple of times. Mine hasn't stalled but came very close. Shudders like a mother. Just a guess.

It only happened one time.
I had to lock up the track hard to not blow a corner.
All good again after start up. Man this sled is fun to ride eh?

Ya same here. Saw the stop sign too late then when I went to take off the motor shuddered so bad I thought I had thrown every crank bearing all at once.
All around great sled. I've done some 400 mile days and only with a Yami 4 stroke. Looking this year to hit 600 miles. Never been into high mileage days before but with this sled I enjoy finding out how far I can go.
