well i put my apex in my garage about 1.5 months ago and has been apart that long as well. i did actually drive it off the tailer and in there under its own power. went to start my wifes vector and it wouldn't start w/out using starting fliuid and ofcourse it won't idle right but finally runs fine once off idle. anyways i finnaly put the suspenion back in the apex and went to start it and yep, it would not start.
by this time i was having a bad day so screw it i used starting fluid to start the apex as well(which runs fine now). this is just a guess, but can this crap ethenol gas got so bad that it doesn't have good enough firing power to start the sleds?? i actuallly pretty much drainer the gas out of the vector and put some 91 oct. in just to help run it thru the carbs which i think the low speed circuit is blocked.

Look back into the last several times the engine was started. If it wasn't fully warmed up and run on the trail. the spark plugs will be fouled. Even though you got it started on ether, it will be a problem on the trail. these sleds don't self clen the plugs, so I strongly recommmend biting the bullet and replacing them all if this scenario fits. I have tried every other way around this and twice ended up replacing the plugs in the cold and snowy parking lot instead of my shop. I no longer start the engine just to hear it run and cop a grin. Good luck!!

Very first street bike I ever owned back in the 80's cold fouled a plug coming out of winter storage. I had no idea what was wrong until I talked to a small engine mechanic. I had started it every now and then thru the winter and let it run a few minutes. I don't do that anymore.

My wife's 07 Vector did the same thing. Pilot jets were plugged from crap fuel, cleaned carbs and fresh fuel in tank. Starts and runs great now. My Apex would not start, system voltage dropped to 7.6 volts cranking. New battery and all is well.
