I have an 06 RTX, This is a new issue that started this year and only does it sometimes. every now and then when i start it up it wants to stall unless I give it some throttle to keep the RMPs up. I have to do this for about a minute until it warms up enough to idle on it own. any thoughts?

mine just started doing it this year also. seems worse the colder it is out.
i figuerd it was injectors too. probably going to throw a can of injector cleaner in it this weekend and see how it works

how old are your plugs how many miles? may be something to do with it two. givin the age i would be looking at dirty fuel system as well.

Mine has done this but in the opposite, when its hot out it will stumble at startup and needs throttle to calm idle

My 07 has done it once or twice....When it does it I shut it off and re-start it.(wait to hear fuel pump charge...Then turn the key to start) and it smooths right out. (never touching the gas)
