Ok I was board & went to try out some CATS, first I tryed the 2014 with the nitro motor in it, the sled did not even perform like the nitro at all it felt very slugish and the #*$&@ end was all over the place, did not like it at all. Then I tryed the 1100 turbo, I thought these sleds halled #*$&@ but my 2006 apex pulls alot harder all the way to top end, the cat could not even get 100mph on a wide open lake, but the sled did drive and handle very well on the trails, but WOW what a disapointment in power compared to the apex, and my apex is old now the newer apexes must realy go. So i will keep my old girl until next years 2015 modles and see if yamaha will build something else. And I am YAMAHA loyal and let the reps now how I felt about there so called turbo, I just wanted to see if that sled was all that. cats.

I drove a turbo cat also with a clutch kit and other mods guy cant keep belts on it but it has great top end power but no good for trail doesn't have the torque like my apex. I did not like the handling but maybe I am spoiled with my power steering. I don't think it was set up properly because it also rode like a buck board. I wont be buying one in a long time with all the issues he is having, 4 belts in 1300 miles and he is very dissapointed because he wasn't planning on getting a different sled for a long time. OUCH!!!
