the 06' attak the secondary spring is set at a 3-3 twist and i have heard that the apex is set at a 6-1 twist, if you put the attak to a 6-1, would you lose or gain anything

It is not the same spring on the Apex and the Attak. The color on the Apex's spring is pink and the Attak's spring is white. What I did last year, I put the pink one on my Attak at 3-3... I found that it was the best if you just do trail rides....
