What is the correct tension for an Attak Track.

I ran mine looser last week in Quebec and had no issues with hi-fax wear. Figure about 1 inch sag with the sled off the ground. No ratcheting either.
First set of hi-fax was junk at 500 miles. No noticeable wear after another 700 since track looser.

I've experienced the same as gkw on my Attak too, it's ok to run 'em loose if not studded & doing so will extend life of hyfax.

Ran the stock hyfax for about 240 miles, some of it on marginal snow conditions, so i chaulked up the hyfax wear to that. Put on a new set and wore the same amount in the same spot, was at the dealer when he called Yamaha, rep said to run it to spec. We re adjusted and it has not worn any more. The reason i ran it to spec is because if it happens to wear more i want a new set for free.
