This maybe a dumb question for some but I'm unsure, So I just got a new YTZ10S for my Nyrto to save on weight & I know the +/- terminals were on opposite sides from the stock one. Since the battery is a sealed battery can I mount it on its side like this:
or does it have to be up right like this:
The + terminal wiring isn't long enough to stretch to the backside on the battery. The other option I have is to rotate the battery 180 degrees which will work but just make getting to the terminals a PITA.
Please send me your thoughts.

Side ways will be fine as the battery is sealed. How much weight savings?

I thought that would be the answer bug I had to verify it. About 7 lbs. The stock battery is s 20s(14-15 lbs) and the 10s is 7lbs.

If it's a Lithium battery you can you can mount it upside down/ sideways, whichever. I run one in the wife's Phazer. Huge weight savings. She said she could notice the difference in the front end.
