Friend pulled apart the very rear shock. It poured water out of it and wasw completely split. plus it will not start Unless I take a hairdryer to the starter relay. Put a warranty claim it for both. Hopefully this three year warranty is not a joke. should be covered.

Huh, I've never had an issue with my starter relay and I rebuild/revalve my shocks every season so no issues there.

Im not trying to be a smart #*$&@ but how do you store your sled?

ya its the starter relay..
I used to to store in in a heated garage the first year. But last year and this year I put it in a non heated shed. Why do you ask?

I was curious if stored it outside where it would be exposed to rain and snow. Even if a sled is covered, moisture seems to get place it shouldn't.

Sounds like you store your sled just like me so my moisture theory is not applicable.

The starter relay getting moisture in it is a common problem I believe. Take it apart, clean it, and put some dialectric grease on it. It should be fine.

Our nytro sits outside all winter, stored in a pole shed all summer. Its never had a problem. Although the lights did quit once for a couple miles.

Luck of the draw I guess.

I had the same issue with my fuel relay. Ran the sled for about 10 minutes, shut it off and wouldn't start again after a half hour. Fuel pump wouldn't turn on. It was -14 degrees out, and it would only turn over. Did some research on totallyamaha and found out it was most likely a frozen relay. The sled started perfect after we got it trailored home. After pulling the relay off, i'm surprised that moisture could find its way in. ITS TIGHT! Filled it with dialectric grease, hopefully that cures it. Good luck
