Cleaned Clutches and adjusted the belt deflection the other day.

In the garage, on the stand, all seem good. Looked like the track wanted to creep, but did not go into full spin.
Went around the yard, tested forward & reverse, and parked it back in the trailer.

I store my machines with the track elevated. When elevated, the track now would spin at idle. No squealing when stopped with the brake. I can stop the track with my foot.

I run the track a little looser than spec for less rolling resistance. It spins fairly easy.

Do I have too little belt deflection?
Or is the track spinning because the clutches are now clean enough to eat off of? And the track was lubed by the trip around the yard?

I would say that the belt deflection is as close to tight as you would want it. The drive train on these sleds bleeds so much energy that if your track can creep just a bit. If elevated mine will just barely start to turn the track but with the weight of the sled on the ground it will not move.

yep thats how mine is set works perfect...little creep and it will lift the skis any time you hit the flipper
