Bender suspension

Well I did it I have my order in for the new Bender suspension for my 03 RX1. I ordered it from Woodys Performance in Topsham, ME and I cant wait. This may be the thing that saves my sled from becoming an insurance claim. The suspension was so bad from Yamaha I couldnt stand it on anything but a fairly well groomed trial. I will keep you all posted and take pictures of the install maybe somone else can use the info after I get done with mine. I will also let you know what I think compared to the 05 and 06's since my buddy has one of each. Cmon snow

I RODE MINE FOR 3 YEARS ALSO, UP GRADED TO M-10 THIS YEAR.

Ron, I hope that the Bender unit works out for you. I just completed an SC 10 III install on my 03. I hope to ride on Friday or Sat, then I will post how the Doo skid works on the RX1

Did Bender give you any idea how long it would take for you to get it?
I heard there was a problem with the shock supplier.

I never had a problem with the stock suspension, except that it was too short.

I was at Benders shop on Tuesday and saw the new mono set-up.
Looks sweet. You should like it.
I'm still on the stock one and really don't consider it "that" bad.
But then I lake race and ride "only" really well groomed trails.
No bumps. Too old!!

As of last Friday Terry had no idea when the shocks would be in or the skid would ship.

I ordered mine directly from Bender and when I spoke to them last week they said there were no problems with the shock quantities from Penske and just wanted to know my wieght and riding style for sizizng the spring. She told me that if i feel the spring is too light I can return it for the heavier one and it would be shipped in about a week. Oh yeah and add pretty new black RTX to my toy list below. 4 sleds and now 2 enclosed 4 plc trailers - wife starting to question my sanity.
