Hi !
I ran stock carbides on my Ltx 2014 and too more push for me. What is the best aftermarket carbides for the agressive trail riding and with no darting?

-snow tracker ( agressive model-star suspension recommendation)
-woody's 6" ou 8"
- cobra
-dooly
Other advise ? I run 65 psi at the front

I hear a lot of good things about the snow trackers. Quite expensive.

I might be inclined to try Stud Boy Deuce given the single keel.

This advice is purely guesstimation from a guy with nearly zero seat time on these machines.

IMO...Cross the W00dys Dooly off the list and instead put down the Woodys Slim Jims and/or the SnowStuds Double Downs. They are both duel carbides but are spaced wider apart (than Doolys) and work much better. I am totally happy with the Double Downs (6") on the stock skis. Light steering effort and 0.0% darting!

When we put Snowtrackers on our Vector LTX's three years ago, the dealer had just started carrying them, and tried to sell us aftermarket skis instead. On our Vector LTX's, it was like putting them on rails. Last year, my dealer became a huge fan after he ran them on his new 2014 Viper. He says there was no darting, no push, and the sled acted like it had power steering. His only concern was how hard they dug in on a "hot corner". My 2015 Viper has the Tuner skis, but I love the Snowtrackers, and half wish that Yamaha hadn't changed the skis so that I could put the Snowtrackers on my new sled. Don't let the cost throw you; after three years and thousands of miles, they are just as good as the day I bought them. My buddy has had his for over 5,000 miles, and when you compare them to my wife's sled with 1,500 miles, you can't tell the difference!

I have good luck with the Bergstrom carbides set up per instructions

I bought a 2009 Phazer GT that was set up with Bergstrom's in February of last year for my grandson. My original plan was to just shift over to the Snowtrackers. After actually riding the sled, it handled great, and I saw no reason to spend more money for the Snowtrackers, so I understand your enthusiasm for the Bergstroms!

On stock ski's I ran Woody's 6" dooley's. They worked great for daring but had a bit too much push for me.
Also ran 6.9 Pilots for a while. 6" in the middle, 4" on the outside. Ski's work great for floation and darting. But still more push then I wanted.

I plan on running Curve's this season. With 6" round bars.

I'm with Larry, waiting on my Curves from Dalton Ind. Hopefully they will be here tomorrow. I will also be running 6" round bars.

I put slim Jim's on for over 2000 miles last year. Won't buy anything else. Dad has doolys on his and still gets push.

Same here Yamacat21...I have the Double Downs (which are practically the same as the Slim Jims) I'm totally happy with them on the stock skis. If you guys decide to go with a duel carbide you should really consider the Slim Jims over the standard Doolys. The guys at the local Arctic Cat dealer all take off the Cat staggered carbides and put the Double Downs on.

I've had the Stud Boy deuce bars on my Nytro and my dad had them on his Apex and 2014 Viper. They work really well, no steering effort increase and pretty well no darting, but depending on the ski they still push in soft corners. If you don't want it to push throw a set of Curves on it, me and my dad both bought a set for our vipers

I'm going to need some new one. Put the brand new viper on hoist and the left ski carbide was broke off. Pretty poor set up IMO.

Stock skis I run staggerd duellies from cat fully studded. Limiter strap 1 hole from end loosen front skid shock up and no darting at all.
