I have a 05 RX1 that is set up pretty good. I has 192 studs down the middle on a stock Ripsaw track. 48 or the studs are chissels. I have the limiter strap out but don't remember how much and transfer rod for full transfer. My sled hooks great on hard pack snow but on a hard packed road (almost ice like surface) is spins bad.
The track is starting to get bad and I will need a new one this year. What track works best for field or back yard drag racing? I tried to do a search but it seems like every thing but what I want comes up with the search. I know I read about tracks but I can't find it any where.
If I remember right the Cobra track was a favorate. Something about the pitch was mentioned.
Also on the Apex side they mentioned that you need 1.450 studs to get them to hook. Can you put a 1.450 stud on a RX1?
My clutching is very aggresive and comes out of the hole hard. I need some good traction. Does any one have a good Cobra track available?

Thanks Bruce

Best track

Ok, forget the Cobra, I don't want a 1.325 lug. What about the Predator?
Maybe even a 1"
