I notice there are a few people on here that have talked about or even put bike a exhuast on their sleds. Will any r6 pipe work on the sled and what modifications does it require? I have been wondering about this for a while but wasn't sure where to start.

i put a yamaha r6 genuine exhaust on with an excel header pipe and the only adjustments im told to make was lighten up the the tip so it revs 9000rpms and thats for the header pipe and then aaron at excell sd adjust the needle in the carbs and it makes it really come awake. Just so you know this is very loud but i saved about 15 pounds from stock the stock weighs roughly 22 pounds. its a great investment and i will be posting pictures very shortly of mine its at my dealer right now

i have an aftermarket boss but i dont see any reason why you couldnt save yourself money and use the stock even though it is a ten pounds difference in weight from stock to boss. Boss makes a special seat for the exhaust
