how do the billet wheels hold up? also what size are the rear boogie wheels on the apex rtx? thinking of putting a set on from mountain machines. :yam:

Billet wheels hold up well. I have over 1400 miles on mine this year with no problems at all. check out tricked toys from New Market they have an awesome selection of custom billet wheels.

how well do they work with studs?...i know they "GULL" up abit but will they still last?...

im thinking of using them on 2 inner idler position, cause the rubber ones(even the spoked) ony last so long, while the outer ones last and last....

what size wheels did you use on the rear? i see some places list a 7in and a 7.25. what size are the stock wheels?

I had them on my mach Z last year inside the track where my studs were and no prolems with 2000 miles they do get roughed up a little more, as far as buying them from mountain machines i would stay away from them, it took me almost 5 months to get mine, and on top pf that they sent me someone elses order. luckily it was the same style that i ordered. then i waited another month for the rest of my order. this year i went with tricked toys had them in two weeks. good people to deal with.

I believe if you are running studs they recommend that you use the wheels with the rubber or urethane around the wheel so studs don't tear up the wheels.

this is the WHOLE reason i would go with full alum wheels(no rubber)....the studs are the reason IMO the inner wheels wear out so fast.....my outer wheels look like new still while ive replaced inners now one time....

i see royal distributing in ontario has some at a good price....thinking of going with 2 inners for now...mainly cause i know ill have to keep replacing the rubber ones every season.

135mm and also adding a 2 bolt bracket to stop the bending of rails...this is the way yammie should do it from factory....ill go with DOO skid parts for this.
