Going out to the Black Hills with a stock 09 Apex LTX. Do I need to do anything to the clutch?

You dont need to change anything. Ive taken my Apex to Togwatee (9000 ft) twice and it ran just fine. Put 500 miles on the last time. Top rpm will be less and if you race one that was clutched for the elevation, he will beat you, but your sled will run good.
