I've had mine go twice, oil everywhere, day ruined
Now buddies Apex with MC-Xpress kit did it with 160 Kms....
Have any of you out there had or seen this happen?? PG Yamaha sez they've seen a couple do this but don't have a solution. I assume it's blowby on the rings, or, what else could it be?
Looking for the solution

Man not heard to much off it. Make sure your crank case vent is free.

It's probably too much blowby, can be caused by too much boost without proper breakin. I had so much that the pressure wouldn't let the oil drain out of the turbo and ruined it. It was blowing oil out of the crankcase somewhere that I never did find to the tune of about 3qts. in 30 miles. Compression test showed 3 cylinders at 180 or so and the 4th at 120 . I made an evac system kind of like LightningPro sells so I could get it to relieve some of that pressure and give that oil a place to go. The compression was at 140 on that cyl. when I got the top speed at the grass drags we had here last fall. I hit 85 in 500ft on 17# boost and checked compression afterward and it was up to 160 so i guess the rings are finally starting to seat. The 03s had ring problems causing oil burning issues and I wonder if their compression rings don't have prolems too, Ken
